Missions are the plans of committed believer to accomplish the mission of God

Preach by all means use words whenever they are necessary – Francis of Assisi

Search school for children

Church will come out when God is the only way and salvation is gateway to God

Church is group of people called out from the world to be his witness in the world

Instead of permeating the world with its eternal message Church is permeated by the world

The greatest problem with Christians is they forget that they are Christians

For those who escape home Church remedy is be bicultural also with mission Church

Those who proceed adventure mission also does

Those who want to stimulate success mission also does

God orignates

Christ is message

Holy Spirit is power

Church is means

World hears

Missionaries experience green culture mixture of home culture and mission culture

When mission is over home does not exist

Mission says cockadoodledo home says cuckrookoo for the rooster

But the Lord God called to them - Where are you? - Genesis 3:9

This verse is Missionary statement

Mission is overflowing thanksgiving to God 2 Corinthians 4:15

2 Corinthians 4:15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

This verse also says grace is gospel

Mission is work of God in reconciling sinful humankind to Himself 2 Corinthians 5:19

2 Corinthians 5:19 Ministry of Reconciliation that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

This verse also says God never counts sins See also Psalm 103:10

Psalm 103:10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve Or repay us according to our iniquities

Reaching unreachable is always more than reaching the unreached

Money will make you to leave God's provisions

Genuine Missionary - Truth

Gracious Missionary - Alms

Good Preacher – Personality

THREE RESPONSES TO HIS ABILITIES

Availability - Empty

Adoptability - Humility

Accountability – Responsibility

Abilities come with time Matthew 10:19,20

Matthew 10:19-20 But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, 20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

Abilities come from Father God John 6:65

John 6:65 He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.”

Romans 10:14-15 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”⁠

Mark 6:7 Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits.

This verse commissions apostles

Luke 10:1 After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go.

This verse commissions disciples

Matthew 28:18-20 NIV – 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

This verse says baptism in triune God name and teach everything Jesus commands

Mark 16:17-18 NIV – And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well

Healing is entirely God’s work and it is not Pastoral care and counselling

Luke 24:46-49 He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. 49 I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”

Repentance and forgiveness are needed for receiving Holy Spirit

John 20:21-23 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”

Anointing of Holy Spirit is to forgive sins

Luke 22:26 But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves.

Jesus is sovereign in servant like sovereign obedience

Mark 10:43-45 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. 45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Servant kind of leadership

1 Corinthians 2:1-5 And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.

Jesus and cross are the first priorities

2 Corinthians 10:5

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Colossians 2:8

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.

Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Jude 1:24-25 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— 25 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

Romans 15:5-6 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, 6 so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

This verse for Eucharist

Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

This verse is proposition

John 16:2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God.

Matthew 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Luke 12:8-9 “I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. 9 But whoever disowns me before others will be disowned before the angels of God.

Psalm 120:7 I am for peace; But when I speak, they are for war.

Vision from the Lord is clear picture of our desired future

Vision is balance between impossible and doeable

Vision creates personal energy

Power and ministry can happen without Holy Spirit but more power and more ministry can happen with Holy Spirit

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Signs and wonders results in Evangelism

Evangelism results in setting up of the culture

Evangelism is mono cultural

Mission is cross cultural

Evangelism is presenting Christ as an answer to their problems
