These men left their work, their means of support behind to follow after the Lord. We may not need to leave our employment to follow the Lord, yet normally there are things in our lives which get in the way of serving God. Are we ready to let go of those things, that we may do that for which we have been called by the Lord? Does money, fame, those we associate with, or something else hinder us in being committed to Jesus? Each of us will need to make a choice as what is most important. Choose wisely!
