THE INTERCESSORY TEAM IN THE MINISTRY!
We know it is absolutely impossible to be greatly effective and accomplish much in ministry without being PERSONALLY prayerful. However, do you have an effective, faithful and committed prayer or intercessory team in order to expedite, stabilize and maximize your productivity?

Every great, effective ministry never lacked one. You are doing a marvelous work for the Lord Jesus Christ, and we need to keep pressing forward by faith to keep securing God's approval and pleasure. Hebrews 11:6.
Ministry is the most honorable calling anywhere in the world, knowing that we are God's ambassadors and primary representatives assigned to build up and equip His Church to light up and lead the World! Ephesians 4:7-16. What a huge but glorious responsibility!

Now , that commits us to be accountable and to report directly to the LORD, seeking His will and guidance regularly in all we do in prayer and His Word. Proverbs 3:5,6.

THERE ARE PRESENT AND POTENTIAL INTERCESSORS IN YOUR CONGREGATION AND AROUND YOU, CALLED AND PLACED THERE BY GOD TO REINFORCE YOUR PREACHING, TEACHING AND OVERALL MINISTRY MONUMENTALLY, WHEN IDENTIFIED, ORGANIZED AND PROJECTED INTO A WORKING INTERCESSORY TEAM.

I recommend that you appoint an Intercessory minister, one who has the calling and anointing for Intercession and eventually for full time ministry, teaming up and working alongside your preaching and/or teaching ministry, raising more and more intercessors to back up and enhance this vitally important eternal commission in your hands. In no distant time, your ministry will make unprecedented local and global impactful advancement.

I will help us implement this divine mandate of harnessing prayer and God's Word diligently, as we always should do God's work, and then reap the massive spiritual, physical, and eternal rewards to the glory to God Almighty.

Romans 12.6.
We have different gifts, according to the grace given us.....

1 Corinthians 14.12.
So it is with you. Since you are eager to have spiritual gifts, try to excel in gifts that build up the church.

There are diverse, important spiritual gifts in the body of Christ, including the local Church, to meet whatever is necessary to build, strengthen and equip God's people. However, unless we sort them out by teaching God's people to identify their individual gifts, and then guide and motivate them to put them to productive use, those marvelous gifts will stay buried, redundant and useless right in our midst.

There are believers in the Church endowed with the gift of or grace for intercession that should be set apart and taught to be dedicated, faithful, fervent and forceful in their service to their local Church, ministry and the body of Christ, as a team.

Isaiah 62.6- 7.
O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray to the LORD day and night for the fulfillment of his promises. Take no rest, all you who pray. Give the LORD no rest until he makes Jerusalem the object of praise throughout the earth.

Colossians 4.12,13.
Epaphras, from your city, a servant of Christ Jesus, sends you his greetings. He always prays earnestly for you, asking God to make you strong and perfect, fully confident of the whole will of God. I can assure you that he has agonized for you and also for the Christians in Laodicea and Hierapolis.

Matthew 18.19.
"I also tell you this: If two of you agree down here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.

A faithful, effective intercessory team effort :-

1) Generates divine conviction for humility, repentance and the gift or grace for CORPORATE intercession within any congregation of the local Church, ministry and the body of Christ.
2 Chronicles 7:14.

2) Complements the Leader's ministry and other ministries in the local assembly, to stay focused on it's primary vision, calling or goals in righteousness. And as a result provide protection from distraction, compromise and spiritual lethargy.

3) Makes a progressive impartation of the spirit of grace and supplication on INDIVIDUAL members of the local assembly, bringing about a prayer revival ultimately.

4) Provokes increased appreciation, hunger and thirst after God's Word, obedience and dedication to selfless service.

5) Saturates the local Church and every meeting, or service with God's awesome presence, provoking regular manifestation of the Holy Spirit, making it very easy for people to become born again, receive spiritual gifts, miracles, boldness, encouragement, and divine favor that enhances learning, matures and perfect the saints. Acts 4:29-37

6) Destroys the power of Satan, the god of this world system and UNBELIEF attracting great multitudes and numerical explosion in God's local assembly and Kingdom. 2 Corinth 4:4

7) Keeps Satan's attack at bay, opening great doors of ministry opportunities locally and globally. Acts 13:1-4.

😎 Generates divine wisdom to BUILD the ministry internally and externally. And divine understanding to ESTABLISH that ministry on Jesus Christ, the Rock of Ages, and on God's infallible Word irrespective of changing times and circumstances. Generates divine knowledge to FILL the ministry with all manner of precious and pleasant riches. Proverbs 24:3,4.

9) Keeps off seducing spirits of worldliness, perversion, immorality, lying and deception, apostasy, the traditions of men. And then creates divine stability in all areas for that ministry to boldly operate the gifts of the Holy Spirit and ministry gifts, based and established on the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

10) Helps move members of the intercessory ministry to full time commitment and participation. This is highly recommended because it will remain the success secret and future of the local Church and ministry that will make it highly productive, vibrant and supernaturally resourceful, operating within a perverse, corrupt and wicked generation of this day.

11) Ministers the fresh breath of the Holy Spirit into the local assembly and ministry, enabling the saints to promptly and willingly obey scriptural principles that encourage financial liberality, generosity, and cheerfulness in giving, tithing and serving. And so, God's work is well funded and promised reward for our obedience is secured and seen.

12) Since the two primary responsibilities of the minister of the Gospel are PRAYING and the WORD, (Acts 6:4), it goes to emphasize the importance of a very dedicated, supportive intercessory team and an evangelism team, responsible for all evangelistic work, including publishing and promoting the preaching and teachings of the minister or pastor within and outside the ministry, be it on TV, YouTube, Social Media, Print Media etc.

These two vital teams and the minister, spiritual leaders should be firmly bonded, always working together.
