I wrote the following chorus back in the 70’s. We would sing it in Sunday School just before going to our individual classes. I’ve often sung it since then as a personal prayer of worship before reading God’s Word. May it be a blessing to you today as you read the lyrics!


Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
Come into His courts with praise;
Lift high the name of Jesus,
Look upon His face.
Quietly we wait before You,
Teach us now we pray;
Lead us to the Fount of Blessing,
Fill us with Your love today.
