Ah, now Satan is quoting scripture, trying to cause the Lord to stumble. Jesus had quoted scripture on the previous two temptations, so he figured he would use this very idea to trick the Lord. The devil is very tricky and will use all that is in his arsenal in order to get one to turn against the will of God. But God is victorious over sin. It cannot stand in His presence.
