Unfamiliar Surroundings

I hate to think of myself as a dog; yet; like an old dog it’s hard to teach me new tricks. I need the trick of learning my way around in unfamiliar surroundings. Understand, I have no natural sense of direction. Recently, I chose a new medical clinic and hospital facility for routine medical tests. Good decision but I’ve stayed confused. Is indoor GPS possible? No? Well, specific directions are always helpful.

God leaves no room for doubt. He sent Ananias to see Saul and gave him directions on where to find him.

“Saul rose from the ground, and although his eyes were opened, he saw nothing. So they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And for three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank.

Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, ‘Ananias.’ And he said, ‘Here I am, Lord.’ And the Lord said to him, ‘Rise and go to the street called Straight, and at the house of Judas look for a man of Tarsus named Saul, for behold, he is praying, and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him so that he might regain his sight (Acts 9:8-12 ESV).”

God will help me overcome my problem. I’ll walk the unfamiliar hospital halls by faith (if not by sight).
