"And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength, through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia." Daniel 11:2.

Riches are designed to bring a lot of things to their owners. For this reason, so many people desire to have riches. Riches are a defense and can be used as offensive weapons. This becomes possible because of the strength of riches.

The strength of riches can be used positively or negatively. Riches can be employed in many ways. In the opening verse of this write-up, the fourth ruler in Persia is prophesized to be the richest of the four. That is not the issue at stake here. Our concern is his area of deployment of the riches. He was said to employ the riches to "stir up all against Grecia".

That is the power of riches for you. They can be used positively or negatively. The fourth ruler chose to use his riches to stir up people.

The essential question here is, as a Pilgrim, how do you want to deploy your riches if finally released to you? What you do with it can bring relief or grief to you and or others. Think deeply about what you want to do with your desired and expected riches before you receive it. Pay attention to the truth that any riches given to you are not your own. You are only a caretaker, you will give an account of how you use it. For using it well or not, you will be rewarded. You can predetermine what your rewards will be by doing the right thing with the riches you are blessed with. May you not wrongly use what the Lord has put in your care in the name of Jesus Christ. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
