In the previous two or three articles based on the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Apostle Luke, the Physician, was brought to the fore the truth that parables are of great value.0 Because it conveys many deep meanings, Our Master, Jesus Christ employed it to convey His Gospel Messages to people, especially His disciples.

One such parable is contained in Luke chapter fifteen in verses eight to ten.

At the beginning of the chapter, there were various types of people representing the different groups He spoke about in the chapter. Here, a discussion of the second group He spoke about will be carried out. What happened?

His parable here is a direct reply to the accusations of the religious leaders of His time, the Pharisees and the Scribes. What were the allegations?  These are going into the sinners or receiving and eating with them.

Christ knew their hearts towards money and explored the opportunity inherent in parables to educate them. This brought about the story of the lost silver coin.

In the parable, Jesus talked about a woman who lost a coin in her house and did everything until she saw the lost coin. She had ten silver coins but she did all within her power to find the lost one. She left nothing undone UNTIL she found it. To God be the glory that her effort was crowned with success.

What succeeds success? Celebrations!! She did the same thing. She invited her friends and neighbors to celebrate with her.

Jesus Christ compared this kind of rejoicing with what obtains before the Angels in Heaven. Should the hosts of Heaven not rejoice over a lost soul that becomes saved?

The Lost Silver Coin.
Beloved, have you taken time to wonder why some people in the household of God behave like unbelievers? There are many in the Church today. This group of people was never born into the family of God but joined it for so many other reasons besides salvation. These people do not understand what new birth is all about not to talk about having the experience. How do you want them to understand the Kingdom language meant for children only?

Do you know what? Many of their actions resemble those of real children of God. How do they acquire this? By observation and copying the sons and daughters. Many of them have copied well until they are ordained as Pastors, Evangelists, and so on. This group of people needs to be found in the Church of God, no matter how long they have been in the Church or their present status. They need to be found out. Otherwise, the house of God will become a place where they will stay until they end up in Hell, God forbid!

Beloved Pilgrim, kindly examine your heart and ask yourself whether you have experienced the new birth to become a true son or daughter of God. If you have, I congratulate you. May the Lord be with you to guide you and all sons and daughters of God, until the end of your pilgrimage here on the Earth in the name of Jesus Christ.

Please, be up and search for the lost sons and daughters of God in the assembly where you are. Be convinced, there are many. The Holy Spirit will identify them and give you the wisdom and other weapons to gain them for the Lord in Jesus' mighty name. Stay blessed and prepared for the second coming of the Lord.
