Are You Thirsty?

On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. John 7:37 NIV

Notice here that Jesus saves the best for last. He shared these words on the last and greatest day of the festival. So, are you thirsty? No, I don’t mean for something to quench a physical thirst, but instead for something which truly quenches the heart and soul. So, what does it mean to come to Jesus and drink? We must come to Him, and drink of who He is. We must allow Him to enter us through the Holy Spirit, submitting ourselves to His ways and desires and not to those of the flesh. Only through Jesus is it that our hearts, minds, and souls can be quemched. Only through Him can we find true meaning to life. Go to Jesus and drink.
