The Lord our God is a God of His Word. He is a covenant keeping God. He fulfills every promise at the right time and in the best way.

Certain groups of children of God see riches as leprosy and a rich man as a leper. I don't know why this should be so. Our Heavenly Father owns all things. How can His sons and daughters be seen as lepers when they are given individual portions of His possessions? I think this ought to be so.

This is recorded about Abram (or Abraham):
"(Abram was very rich in livestock, silver, and gold.)", Genesis 13:2(New Living Transaction, NLT).

Father Abram was not only rich but he was very rich in possessions, both in cash and kind. He lacked nothing. He was more than comfortable. He had more than enough.

How did he come about this?

When he was commanded to be separated from his people and land to start a new walk with his Maker, he did not object. He obeyed without knowing where he was going. He trusted in the Personality who instructed him to separate himself.

During that time, the Lord said to him,
"I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others." Genesis 12:2( New Living Transaction, NLT).

The Lord promised to bless him and make him a blessing (famous). Let me put it this way: when he was blessed, he was rich only; when he became a blessing, he became very rich.

Beloved Pilgrim, if you are truly the Lord's, you are a partaker of God's Commonwealth. You are a joint heir with Jesus Christ and other faithful children of God. Do not be ignorant of your rights and entitlements in the Lord your God. Claim it and use it wisely. Stay blessed and be ready to meet the Lord who is coming soon to give every one according to his works.
