Encouragement

Through the midst of my trials and tribulations
I will keep my eye on the Lord
For he is the source of my delight
In him I find victory tonight

Though storms and fiery darts may come my way
God is the one who gives me the strength for the day

I know no other for he is the only
One who can make my sorrows turn to joy
In the midst of my darkest hour I can raise my arms
And open my eyes to rest on the glory of his presence.

I don’t have to worry or fear, for joy has come in the midnight hour.
My God is my source in times of trouble and despair.

When I feel as if I can’t go on I know I can
Because he said I am more than a conquer
I can do all things through him.
He has given me the strength to endure.

I know that every trial I go through is
A step closer to what he has for me.

I will bless the Lord at all times
And I will give him praise for he alone is worthy to be praised.

My God thank you that you have not forsaken me
And are with me always.

I delight in your word and hold it dear to my heart
For I know that you are always there.
