Keep His precept in mind and rules in heart,
Live life longer if of you they do not part;
Never let mercy and good faith ever fade,
Treat like a necklace as a pendant of jade;
You will have grace from God and of men,
As well as your name be untarnished then;
Put all of your hope in God with your trust,
For keeping you away from an earthly lust;
Lean not in reason for your own defense,
Rather a means to protect a moral sense;
In all of your situations give him an ear,
He will direct your path in avoiding fear.
Your days and years of life will increase,
When your heart is filled with inner peace;
And everything shall remain for you alright,
As long as you continue staying in His light;
For the truth shall be in His light to stay,
Never shrouded by darkness or cast away;
Engraving in your heart His rules to live,
Brings peace and understanding to forgive.
