When loneliness takes hold of you
your heart begins to ache.
It leads you to a darkened place
of feelings you can’t shake.

And when you fall into its snare—
a snare that captivates,
just lift your voice unto the Lord—
to God communicate. . .

Communicate your solitude—
call to the Mighty One.
Have faith in Him to care for you
and let His Will be done.

He’ll hear your cries of loneliness—
the ones held deep inside,
then carry you to tranquil grounds
and wipe each tear you cried.

The Lord will be your champion—
forever He will be.
He knows and sees the loneliness
you thought no one could see.

But know…

The friend that you were searching for
was always by your side,
and there He’ll be forevermore—
great friendship He’ll provide.
