When it comes to our focus on the God of our salvation, we all have some degree of attention deficit disorder.
Our thoughts are like constantly straying sheep that we can nudge gently back into the fold, simply by pronouncing the name of the Good Shepherd of Souls and Thoughts, Jesus.
This isn't to say that there are not occasionally dangerous wolf thoughts in sheep's clothing in amongst the sheep. And those must be cast out of the fold altogether!
In the center of the fold, though, is the all encompassing, all surpassing, all transcending peace of God.
