Among multitudes of people, there are different characters. This ought not to be so among people of God but it is sad to note that it is unavoidably present. One of the reasons is that the level or rate of growth is not the same.

Celebrated Brethren.
A careful watch of the behavior of some brethren will prove that there are people of God who can be celebrated. They may not be many.

This was the case with Apostle Paul and his son in the Gospel, Timothy. This father was proud of his son everywhere he went. For instance, to the Corinthians, he wrote,
"Now if Timotheus comes, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do. 1 Corinthians 16:10.

What a great testimony! A father who was able to identify a son who takes after him.

Not only that, to the Philippians he wrote about Timothy thus,
"2:20 For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.
2:21 For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.
2:22 But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel. Philippians.

Beloved brethren, can your Father in the Lord say such things about you? Or are you one of those who care only for their things with little or no time for the things of God? Make necessary changes so that you will also be a source of positive testimonies. Remain blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
