Equal Reward?

Why do people work? This is an important question to ask yourself. There is a motive behind exacting your energy on a particular work at a certain time. Or do you work for working sake? I don't think so! Whatever work you do is for a purpose. That purpose is a reward in one form or the other.

The reward can also come from any quarters and it can be in any form.

Do you know that all your activities in this world will be rewarded? Who will do this? It is the Lord your God Who sent you here to do things for His glory. So, whatever you do will attract adequate compensation.

Your activities are either good or bad. Positive or negative. Both will be compensated.

The Lord assures,
"[11]Let the one who is harming continue to harm; let the vile one continue to be vile; let the righteous one continue to live righteously; let the holy one continue to be holy.
[12]“Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds." Revelation 22.

The question now is: will there be equality in rewards? "No!" is the answer. Repayment will be according to deeds. So long deeds are not the same, and rewards cannot be the same. Each person will dictate what he wants as his reward.

Let us consider it from a farming point of view. Someone who cultivates ten acres of land is expected to reap more than the fellow who cultivated an acre, all things being equal. How occupied are you for the glory of God?

You have to choose between the two options freely given: to do good or evil. To work very hard in performing your choice. The Lord promised to come back for reward giving. What will be your reward when He comes? Are you occupied with doing good or evil? Engaging in evil will not be to your advantage at all. Therefore, turn on a new leave and begin to do good in the sight of the Lord your God.

His coming is now around the corner. Events of today are proof that His coming to take His Elects is imminent. If you are on the Lord's side doing all His biddings, continue in Him and it shall be well with you. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
