His disciples answered, “Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?” Matthew 15:33 NIV
Sadly, we see here that the disciples did not even recall the feeding of the 5000 people by the Lord. They were focused only upon the current situation. How much are we like the disciples in this situation? Unfortunately, we are quite like them. I am sure at times our faith will shine through and we will trust but other times we will be just like the disciples. Christ is always beside us, ready to help, but at times our faith needs to be tested for it to grow. Let us learn from the times we fall short in our trust and learn from it that we might grow in the Lord.
