What Is Needed

Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up, “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?” John 6:8-9 NIV

The first ingredient needed to have our needs met is for us to look for that which we can provide for the dilemma that we face. Andrew found a boy with a bit of food. Keep in mind that Jesus did not need this food in order to feed the multitude but He did use it to multiply it into enough to feed all the people. So what can we provide? When we face difficulty we can provide our knowing that we are dependent upon the Lord. Yes we may need to provide according to that which He asks of us. We must realize that He is the provider and we are the one asking. We must trust in Him and let go of our limitations as to that which can be accomplished. If we trust in Christ, then we can see His power at work. The chains of limitation shall be lifted and God’s will shall be done.
