 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it John 5:21 NIV

I think those who believe in God would not question His ability to raise someone from the dead. Jesus in His time on earth raised three individuals from bodily death. To raise one from death it needs to be God or someone through whom God accomplishes the raising from death. Jesus has also raised many more from death, death of the human spirit. To those who believe in the Son the Holy Spirit is sent. The Holy Spirit raises the human spirit from spiritual death and brings understanding of God to that human soul.
