God, I Give You My Pain

Who in their right mind would want pain? I sure do not because being in pain is not something I enjoy. Whether it is physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual pain, it brings sorrow to my heart. So, to know God wants my pain is a relief. In Jeremiah 29:11, the Lord reminds us that He has plans not to harm; us but to prosper us. Fierce opposition may arise despite a promise made by God. Still, He reassures us He wants to give us hope and a future. So, if God wants to take my pain, He can have it. The question is, can you release your pain into His hands? Will you trust the Almighty enough to thrust all your cares and hurts on Him? 

Beloved, He grieves when we hold on to pain when we do not have to do that. So, when somebody betrays you, He urges you to give that to Him. If those challenging circumstances go from bad to worse, leave that situation in God’s hands. If you are facing something that is not the ideal outcome, turn it over to Jesus. Whatever is causing you pain, distress, or discouragement, He should be the first one; you go to for a solution.  

Some experiences hurt so much; we feel; we will never recover from such afflictions. My Friend, I can assure you He can deliver you from what you thought you would never have gone through. He did so for me. Whatever your situation is causing you pain, distress, or discouragement, He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit. (Psalms 34:14). God cannot allow no weapon formed to destroy you. So, give that pain to God so you can live again. Get up from that place of distress and give the enemy back sorrow, hopelessness, and despair. Rise above whatever hurts you so goodness and mercy follow you. 

God understands our suffering and is not immune from our pain. And when we suffer, it affects Him because He feels what is hurting us. According to 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, God wants to comfort us, so we need to let go of that pain and place that burden on His shoulders. When He comforts us, it helps us console others. Beloved, surrendering your pain to the Lord brings you peace, strengthens you, and turns your mourning into dancing so you can remove that sackcloth of heaviness for garments of praise. (Psalms 30:11; Isaiah 61:3). Father, I surrender my pain to You.
