Christian Living
What first enters enters the mind and body helps set the mental and physical tone and lay the foundation for the entire day. So the thought needs to be positive and edifying and the food, even if a very small portion, needs to be nutritious. So too, what thoughts last enter our minds at night need to induce peace and rest, and what food last enters our bodies, however small in portion, needs to be nutritious ideally, and, at the same time, not place large demands on the digestive system. All this is to insure that the quantity and quality of our sleep is at least sufficient, and that the sleep is truly restorative. Here in this way we have the First/Last Entry Principles combined into one . Maybe that is part of why Christ is called the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last.
