Dealing With The Obsessive

  Each of us has at least one area of obsessiveness in our lives. God may be orchestrating a way to deal with that area at this very moment. A situation or circumstance may emerge in which we can get no desired result or resolution, regardless of our hard, well-intended efforts. (Skating blindly along on the pavement of our good intentions. ) Nonetheless, we feel compelled to keep trying. We soon reach a point near exhaustion, where we know it is best to trust and rest in the assurance that there will be a solution or resolution,  in God's time and in God's way.  We have to relinquish control or let go and  (here's the clincher)  behave in faith as if it has already been resolved! And if it has already been resolved, that's something in which we can rejoice and move forward cheerfully with the One Who has overcome the world.  Many are passing through a trial like this even as I write these words.
