Getting Babylon Out of The Church

  After God used Moses to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt He was tasked with removing Egypt from the hearts of the children of Israel.  That was a far more difficult task. And to be honest, God was largely unsuccessful at it. It required more of Israel's  cooperation than they were willing to give. 
  Conversely, hundreds of years later, when Babylon invaded Judah and carried so many of the children of Israel captive back to Babylon, the Babylonian captors could not remove Jerusalem completely from the hearts of their Hebrew prisoners. They had removed their bodies from Judah relatively easily, but removing the Hebrews' hearts from their homeland proved to be far more challenging, if not impossible. 
  Around the world today, many Christians are being removed from churches, but the oppressors and persecutors are failing miserably at removing the reality of the church from the hearts of those they are bullying . In fact, they are unknowingly stoking the fires of faith in Christ hotter and brighter in the souls of those believers, and the ones for whom they are such good examples!
