Eternal Sin

"but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.” He said this because they were saying, “He has an impure spirit.” Mark 3:29-30 NIV

There is a sin which is eternal. The Holy Spirit is God, living within those who belong to Christ. The Holy Spirit is the gift from the Father to the believer, God living within the believer. To state that the Holy Spirit is impure is to say that God is impure. Such a blasphemous statement cannot be forgiven. God is Holy and righteous, the exact opposite of impure. Let God, through the Holy Spirit live within you.
