Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.” Mark 3:20-21 NV

Are you surprised when members of your family ignore or insult you because of your faith in Christ? You may wonder why your belief can cause them to think down of you. Well, look at these verses. Even those within Jesus’ family believed Him to be out of His mind. This must be His half brothers or members of the extended family. Just know that your belief In Jesus shall cause some in your family to either ignore you or think negatively about you. Jesus tells us there will be division within family because of Him. Know that sadly this is true. Pray for those in your family who do not have a relationship with Christ.
