I remember you
As no one else for me ,would do,
Isn't it true, as we discovered?
When we fell into step to dance,
We both knew we had found romance
And it was ours to be discovered!

Our true beauty manifested when together,
When the stars thought it was time to light the night,
'Twas when nature's drought became a running river
As the sun and moon engaged in sheer delight!

You called me up,
I dimmed the light
Then I imagined you tonight
As we engaged in heartfelt laughter.
Our future held no guarantee,
As I am here and you are free,
Heaven's decreed, we're distant lovers.

Our true beauty manifested when together,

You've moved toward a higher space,
God knows it's where you live in grace,
No better place, as you've discovered.
So with a pen here in my hand,
