Have you ever felt the LORD called you to do something for him and you felt inadequate? Well Moses was called to speak to the people of Egypt, but he felt he was not a good speaker. The LORD performed miracles with Moses’ staff to help him believe and carry out what the LORD wanted him to do.

In Exodus 4 the story plays out:

A The LORD”S call to Moses to speak

B Moses feared the people would not listen to or believe him.

C The LORD demonstrated signs with Moses staff and Moses hand

1. 
   

   By the staff turning into a serpent and back to a staff



2. 
   

   Moses hand turned Leprous and was restored back to normal flesh



3. 
   

   Then the LORD told Moses to take water from the Nile if the people did not believe him and it would turn to blood



4. 
   

   Moses pleaded with the LORD to have someone else speak for him because he was slow to speak.



5. 
   

   The LORD told Moses his brother Aaron would speak for him



6. 
   

   The LORD’S instructions to Moses was to return to Egypt where he fled from 40 years prior because the people that desired to kill him were all dead



7. 
   

   Moses used his staff to perform signs and finally the people of Egypt believed and worshipped the LORD
