This was the response of the Samaritan woman at the well when Jesus told her to go and bring her husband. You do know that when you talk with Jesus, you need to speak truth. Jesus already knows everything about you, so why lie to Him? Do you think that He will be willing to be helpful to you if you lie, or do you believe He seeks the truth? We may be ashamed to speak the truth, but that is exactly what Jesus wants to hear us speak. When we are weak and have no answer, He does. What He seeks from us is truth and a willingness to trust in Him.
