Romans 10:17 (KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

If I were to pose a question, it would simply be what are you listening to? Are you listening to truth or are you listening to error?

Where you go to church matters and what you listen to matters. It is said that your diet is not just what you eat. It is also who you spend your time with, what you read and what you hear.

There's a lot of truth in this world but there's also a lot of error.

1 John 4:1-3(KJV) Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Verse 6 says, We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. He is not the author of confusion.

Jesus Christ is the only one who rose from the grave. Buddha, Mohammed and Mary are still dead. Reading the word of God is very important. (Slight pause) but so is hearing.

Hearing is to re-enforce what you already read. We live in a world where the spirit of deception is in the air. People are being carried away with every wind and doctrine.

In John 10:27-28 (KJV) Jesus said My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

What you listen to matters. What are you listening to and who are you listening to? What you listen to has thee ability to form and shape what you believe and what you think.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 (KJV) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

This is the conditioning of the world. People are turning away from the truth because it's easier for them to believe a lie than to believe the truth. A lie sounds good but the truth is a hard saying.

Now Jesus is coming back soon. No man knows the day or the hour. Neither the Angels that are in heaven.

Matthew 24:37-39 (KJV) Jesus says: But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

We are living in the last days. People are waiting for events to happen but they're already taking place.

It time to gird up ourselves like men and women and serve the Lord in spirit and in truth. For the time is at hand.

Mark 16:15-18 (KJV) says: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Romans 10:14-15 (KJV) says How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

The gospel of Jesus Christ is a good thing. He's the only mediator between God and man. Amen.
