LUKE 2:44-47, Mat. 13:44-45

A guess-dealing with God. The danger of negligence and assumptions.
Scanning through the year, right from he first month of the year till now, where are you  and is Jesus right here with you?How close are you still with Christ?
The parent of Jesus had travelled for one day without Him! They thought He was  in their company.  unfortunately, He was not! What about those who had travelled without Him, for a week, a month, a year, Half a decade, A decade, 20 years, 30 years. Losing him eternally will be an eternal disaster!
However, they realised He was away from them and could not specifically state where he was! Then begin the search. They had to travelled additional day backward, Looking for Him
It is better in the first instance not to loss Him. They searched for three days before they could find Him. The consequence of forgetting Jesus, losing sight of Him or ignoring Him Certainly are not palatable. It is better a person realised early and search Him out before it is too late.
The Lordship of  Christ is lost in many lives, organisation and institution  through many means but are all motivated by negligence and assumption. Negligence and assumption in the place of work, Job/business, relationship, circumstances and situations, privileges, positions and achievements. It is dangerous to keep moving on without Him REVISIT YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST!

Luk 2:44-46” Thinking he was in their company, they travelled on for a day. Then they began looking for him among their relatives and friends

Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

Restore us again, O God of our salvation, and put away your indignation toward us! – Psalm 85:4
