FAITH IN THE NAME OF JESUS

Every child of God needs to understand the power in the name of Jesus. When we understand, believe wholly and depend heavily on the name of Jesus, we are bound to see tremendous results in our lives.

The Bible says in Philippians 2:9-10:

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth…”

Please take note of the things that must bow – things in heaven, things on earth and things under the earth. This is how powerful the name of Jesus is – there is no territorial limit to its potency. His name works everywhere!

The name of Jesus is so powerful. Don’t be amongst those who call on the name of Jesus so casually – they do not understand the power in His name. The difference between the seven sons of Sceva and the one man in Mark 9:38-40, who casted out devils in the name of Jesus, was the understanding of the power in that name.

Have FAITH in the name of JESUS. Faith in the name of Jesus will be needed more and more in the end time. Throughout your lifetime, do not lose hold of the fact that when you call on the name of Jesus, everything is possible. No matter what you face, salvation will come.

The name of Jesus is the only name that has the power to save. In Romans 10:13, the Bible says that “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” If you call on the name of the Lord as a whosoever, you will be saved in your health, finance, marriage, family, career and everywhere else.

In Acts 3:1-16, there is an account of a lame beggar at the gate of the temple called Beautiful, whose life was changed because of the power of faith in the name of Jesus. When questions were asked, the Apostle Peter responded, saying:

“And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” (Acts 3:16)

As a believer, you must have faith in the name of Jesus. This should be a lifetime imperative. Lead life with absolute faith in the name of Jesus.

The reason why many are not getting results is because of the absence of FAITH in that name. The name of Jesus is sufficient. The name is sufficient for you and your loved ones throughout this year – and beyond.
