It may take me some time and I make no excuses, 
For the rhythm, the rhyme that my heartbeat deduces.
It's  beaten me so many times, I agree
My impulsive desire, my passion, my fire
Is all an illusion to me!

I have walked with the beautiful, I  heard their stories, 
I encountered the rich, found  their journey  was boring.
I'll give you a tip, so that your eyes may see 
An incredible time,  as you hold your head high,
You walk in your truth, next to me.

Don't look down on the poor, you will find yourself clueless.
For the suffering lived, many folk become ruthless.
As you board a train, ticket master may say
You paid business class, (as his memory lapsed),
You now ride in economy.

Truth, as it  will be revealed  by the whole Universe 
Will show you how you feel.
So, you go running to hide,
Has it not crossed your mind 
To accept what is real?

It has taken some time,  but as time is elusive, 
Tick tock yesterday,  is as old as Methuselah. 
Tomorrow we know not what blessing will bring.
But with an eagle's eye,  it will arrive on time,
As you walk in your truth, next to me.
