Faith

I boarded a train on the pretext I denied you were gone.
My eyes on the tracks, clickety clack, wondered how I'd get along.

We stopped at a town that for me, was full of strangers.
No ' how do you do, ?' No doubt I didn't linger, but I still recall
I needed to prove myself to me.


The train then moved on,
Clickety clack, I heard someone sing my song.
A guy said hello, don't suppose you've been travelling too long?

In shaking my head left to right, that was my answer.
Tried to be polite, I wasn't going to chance it.So I said goodbye,  adios, 
I am journeying alone.
