Grief

That lovely girl, 
Thought she had found the answer, 
He fit the bill,
Maybe she fit it too.

Yet, she soon found
His heart was a lonely dancer.
Still living in the past,
She knew it wouldn't last
And so she had to say 
Goodbye's the word.

That girl, 
Is still growing. 
That girl is still knowing 
Why he doesn't call.
She could not survive, 
Given at this point of time,
Wishing he was someone else instead. 

They often talked,
Both wished they could be closer.
But see?
Their worlds were many miles apart.
They tried, it's true,
But realised the answer.
 
They fused and then they found
They're better off apart,
Despite the fact
They're nursing broken hearts!

That boy, he is lying,
That boy, he is crying
For his yesterdays. 
He will never know
For he just cannot let go,
Wishing he was
Somewhere else instead.

Two lonely hearts,
Hoping they found companions.
He fit the bill,
Maybe she fit it too.
And just by chance,
Stars were in alignment. 
Magic had occurred,
They had found a word
And shared it with each other,
As you do.
