Communication

The union we have with Christ has been permanently established by God, but the communion we experience within that union varies from day to day. The relationship we have with Christ is secure and unchanging,  but the fellowship we experience within that relationship fluctuates.
  Jesus promised at the end of the Great Commission in Matthew chapter 28 that He would be with us always to the end of the age. He was expressing by that how He would be with us uniformly,  as much one day as the next, regardless of whether we could feel that closeness consistently. 
  There may be times when Jesus withdraws our sensible awareness of His Presence to build our faith, hoping that we will continue to seek Him undeterred by the absence of the sensation of His nearness, to which we had grown accustomed.
