The Days of Teshuva begin at sunset on Elul 1st each year and end at sunset the day before Yom Kippurim.

Dates Of Repentance: Elul 1 to Tishrei 10
The Dead Sea Scrolls Calendar dates for Teshuva 2022 are August 21st thru September 30th, 2022 in the Anno Mundi year 5947.
The Forty Days of Teshuva begin at sunset Wednesday, August 21st and ends at sunset Friday, September 30th.

The Hebrew Calendar dates for Teshuva 2022 are August 28th in the Hebrew Year 5782 to October 5th, in the Hebrew Year 5783.
The Days of Teshuva begin at sunset Saturday, August 27th and ends at sunset Wednesday, October 5th.

2 Peter 3:9 – “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
Joel 2:13 – “Tear your heart . . . and turn to Yahweh, your God; for he is gracious and merciful.”
Ezekiel 14:6 – “Thus says Yahweh, ‘Repent, turn away from your idols and turn away from all your abominations’.”

The words translated “turn” and “turn away” are the Hebrew word, shüv [שׁוּב H7725]. Teshuvah comes from the word shüvah, [שׁוּבָה H7729], which in itself comes from the root word, shüv. It means: to turn back, to return. Teshuvah means going back to one’s roots in Yahweh/Yeshua, returning to the true Adam before sin came into the world.

Elul 1 (August 9th) is the day to begin turning back! Admit wrong doings and past shortcomings, renounce them, and make a firm resolution to change in the future. Make restitution to the wronged party and a promise not to repeat the offense. Make every effort to return to an un-fallen or sinless state.

The last ten days starting on Yom Teruah and leading up to the day of Yom Kippurim are also known as the Days of Awe, a term that is more commonly known as the Days of Jacob’s Trouble and represent the tribulation period that will purge the Earth of evil. If you only count the days between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur the number of days is seven, the same as the number of years in the tribulation period!

1 John 1:9 – “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Make full use of The Days of Teshuvah, followed by The Days of Awe, (the Ten Days of Repentance lest you be separated forever from Yahweh/Yeshua and be consigned to the Lake of Fire for all eternity.
