the smoke is rising to my face.
the smoke is growing at a steady pace.
i raise my arm to ash
but i move too fast,
and the ash falls to my lap

the smoke is all around
my fag makes an awful burning sound
i raise my arm to ash
but i move too slow,
the wind blows,
and the ash falls to my lap.
