Making a wrong turn driving in the dark, I pulled into a strange driveway.  I had almost backed out when I realized what was spread before us: a dazzling display of blinking colored lights in a carefully prepared environment. My companion was so worried about getting to the correct destination that he couldn't appreciate what we had found by mistake. We eventually reached our intended destination but the detour and delay were well worth it, to me anyway. 
  Such it is in life. This was the latest reminder that it's not all about reaching our goals, but also about what or whom we encounter along the way.
