Love given therein to the Loved

is a love the Loved does not deserve and

a love the Lover gives without thought of return.

The gifted may feign love

yet fall into hypocrisy, plasticity

The intelligent and knowledgeable feign love yet they are nothing and have nothing.

In all manner of giving, feigned love gives

yet possessions and even the physical body do not comprise real love

That is not love and profits nothing.

Love needs to suffer and bear all suffering.

Love knows no cruelty nor malice nor rudeness.

Love is not insecure, not irritable, nor envious nor jealous.

Love does not lift its own glories, nor litanize its pains.

Neither conceit nor bragging, it is neither arrogant nor demanding -

Love goes outward, seeking the welfare of the other, takes no offence and is not easily provoked;

thinks no evil, scores no wrong, nor accounts for things, does not gloat in wrong neither in wrongdoing....

But Love delights in truth, faces all things, unlimited faith, hope, endurance.

Love does not come to an end.
