The Best Father's Day Gift

Within his means and opportunity, a good father will do all that he can to protect and to provide his children with all that they need for them to have the best possible earthly experience.
.
But more importantly, a godly father will do all that he can to encourage his children to prepare themselves to enter into Heaven (1), and then to live the kind of life that sets the stage for the best possible eternal experience as well (2).

“For what does it profit a man to gain (or to be given) the whole world, and forfeit his soul (Mark 8: 36 NASB parenthesis mine)?”

One can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. The best Father’s Day gift that a godly father can receive is to see his children advancing in their own walk with the Lord.

It’s a win-win scenario for the giver and the recipient.
