News and talk show programs are offered 24-7.

Name your source; radio, television or Internet. Choose your weapon.

The results are the same; talking heads bicker and bemoan the opposing party. Partisan divisions are as American as Mom and apple pie. The dates on the calendar change but history repeats itself.

Congressional representatives on the left share strategies; adversaries from the right are dead set agin' it.

The New Testament writers were undivided.

As far as sin is concerned, we ought to be agin' it!

“If we say, ‘We have no sin,’ we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  If we say, ‘We don’t have any sin,’ we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

My little children, I am writing you these things so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ the Righteous One (1 John 1:8-2:1 HCSB).”

God wants me to take any sin in my life seriously.

His Son Jesus became sin to save me.

“He made the One who did not know sin to be sinfor us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21 HCSB).”

Sin?

I'm agin' it!
