It is so programmed by God,
There will never be joy
In our selfishness!
Our peace is the product
Of our deeds of love!
To keep time
We should have used
To get someone his joy,
Or keep the energy
We should have spent
To obtain someone, his peace
Or store in places so sacredly secured
Those resources,
We should have used for some people’s hope
Will give no joy
Our selfishness anticipates.
Those who hold tight
And hoard God’s resources,
Are selfishly laying in store
“WANTS”;
That is to the credit of ignorance.
Our joy is a product
Of the time, energy and resources
Committed to the labour of love for others.
That little deeds of love.
In the little corner
He cannot over look.
The measure in motive and cost
Of our kindness
Is the degree of our joy.
There is no regret
In the deeds of love
