Forgiven Or Sinless             Jane H. Young

Are you living an arrogant life, thinking nothing you do is wrong, that there is no sin—or are you living a repented life asking God for forgiveness?

The first group says everyone has the right to do whatever they please with no accountability to anyone, the others recognize, repent and turn away from their sins.

“There are six things which the Lord hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that run rapidly to evil, A false witness who utters lies, And one who spreads strife among brothers Proverbs 6:16-22 NASB

I know these are hard words but we have become so complacent when it comes to our everyday lives and Gods actual instructions. Ask yourself—am I more focused on living the way of the world or living the way God desires I live?

I asked a friend if she really believed there was no right and wrong and if everybody has a right to do whatever they want, she said “ yes” . Then I ask her two questions.
 Where does sin fit in with this kind of thinking and If there is no sin why did Jesus die on the cross?  She said she had never thought of it like that. The questions  clearly shook her up or should I say woke her up. Soon after that she got saved and baptized.

The problem with people thinking there is no sin is, it leads to  the rejection and denying of God.  If they acknowledge that there is a God they have to also acknowledge sin existent, but if they deny Him—then  one can do  whatever they want without guilt . Ever wonder why so many are fighting against the existence of God and the Sacrifice Jesus made? Well there’s your answer!

Prayer: Father keep my eyes and heart open to your words and your ways. Let me never accept the values of people that reject you or deny the sacrifice of Jesus.
