Oh! to walk among the stars
That shine into our night
And view the earth as Angel’s do
Concealed beyond our sight
Listen to conversations
Voiced within their realm
As they search for understanding
Of the world where humans live
Leave footprints in the dust of stars
And know that only I
Had shared their evening chatter
So high up in the sky
To be so close to heavens throne
To almost peek inside
And feel the wind from Angel wings
As they fly close by
Perhaps to stroll near heavens gate
To walk across its courts
To cast a shadow in the lights
That shines from heavens ports
To rest where even dreams
Have not yet found a place
And know someday I’ll enter in
Through God’s amazing grace
