Children quickly pick up four letter words when they leave the nest and begin school.

They repeat what they hear. Many are clueless of what the cuss words mean and how repulsive they are.

Mothers blush as they correct their youngsters.

"We don’t use those words."

If the child doesn't get the message reprimands gets firmer.

After repeated outbursts discipline begins.

"Four letter words are not spoken in our home; go to your room."

All need to hear one four letter word.

L-O-V-E.

That four letter word can’t be spoken, heard and expressed too often.

Children flourish and develop into mature adults when they are rooted and grounded in love. They trust others more easily and develop self confidence.

Love is the most needed foundation of life.

“I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35 HCSB).”

We have always said a blessing in our home before meals.

Our daughter April learned the routine at a very early age.

Sitting in her highchair she picked up another four letter word: A-M-E-N.

Children follow our example.
