God takes care of us

First I just want to say, Happy New Year!! I can't wait to see what God does in 2022.

I am writing this not in looking for a hand out, or for sympathy, but to really show how God works in the craziest and uncertainty of situations. 

My wife,mother-in-law,and I have been, and still are homeless since May 31, 2021. This last seven months, + now, has been a wild and crazy roller-coaster ride. To give a small update of our situation it started with a call my mother-in-law got from our landlord saying we had to be out of our house, we were renting, by June 1st because he was renting it to someone else. He was really nice about letting us use him as a recommendation.

The first crazy situation was that U-Haul had no trucks for moving for like two months. People had to go to South Dakota to get a truck. YIKES!! But, that is why we know GOD is BIGGER than our problems, and can solve anything!,because the weekend we had to finally leave was on a Memorial Day weekend, so no other moving companies were open, or they had no trucks either, he used my wife's cousin and our friend to help us move. 

Second crazy situation was now that we didn't have a storage unit. I had called every storage unit in town, and of course being Memorial Day weekend no one was open, or even had availability. But, again, nothing stops GOD! He used the Church I was working at to put our stuff in the big garage they have, and for us to sleep and shower.

The whole summer was a white water rafting trip. My wife, mother-in-law, and I have been in-and-out of hotels, sleeping in our cars, living with family, but then leaving because we were a problem to them, and I even got fired from the Church. 

Which brings me to a third crazy situation. Before getting fired from my job at the Church, they had terminated my position, we were asked to move our stuff from the garage. The day I was asked to move our stuff GOD opened up a door! A storage unit opened up. My wife's uncle called two hours after I was asked to move our belongings out of the garage, saying that a storage unit was open. God paid for a storage unit and gave us the strength to move our stuff. 

Since being homeless Jesus worked Miracles for us to still have a life to enjoy. For instance: My wife and I carved pumpkins during Halloween, she and I were able to go on our one week anniversary trip to the Oregon Coast, and since we take car trips a lot we were able to do that too. We were even able to go fishing! One of my favorite pastimes. 

Here is something really cool about how awesome Jesus is. My wife's cousins mom moved into a trailer from an apartment. Well, she had something happen to where she had an extra month to pay for rent, so God opened another door to where we could stay there. We paid half of the last month's rent with her, and celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas in a warm apartment out of the cold!! 

Is God real?...YES! Is God a miracle worker?...YES! Does he take care of your needs?...YES! Just looked at everything that I have mentioned. 

Now, we are still homeless,but Jesus has blessed us because during the day we get to shower and eat at her grandma's apartment, but are still sleeping in our cars. She lives in Senior Assistant Living, so the manager agreed we could "visit" during the day, but have to be out by night. 

I know God has a plan, and my family and I are just waiting patiently. He is amazing!! We love Jesus and it makes our hearts glow just how he provides for our needs, and NEVER FORSAKES US!  

Oh, and God opened another door this past summer by providing me an awesome job after being let go from the Church I worked at. Thank you Jesus!!!
