Have you ever felt a sense of peace knowing you’ve stepped away
Leaving behind an element of negativity you didn’t need
Have you ever felt that euphoric feeling of a pleasant day
As you were able to make someone smile through a good deed

Every action has a reaction and to each cause there’s an effect
So when you think about how you want to be treated
You should consider that what you do to others reflects
So put forth kindness and you’ll never feel depleted

There are times where we may get taken for granted
There are instances where people try to walk over us
Always remember your time and energy isn’t to be demanded
Any sort of insult or ignorance isn’t worth the fuss

Take comfort in knowing you’re never alone
Billions of people are alive on this Earth
Mistreatment and abuse should never be condoned
Find better people who will value your true worth

Everyone has something in common no matter what
Struggles and problems will always unfortunately arise
However, that doesn’t mean you should let your heart remain shut
Triumphs and solutions will also always exist for anyone who tries
