Though much can be known, there is continuing mystery with regard to the nature of God and those created in the image of God. Were this not so we would never be surprised by God or by other persons, and if we are honest we must admit to regularly if not daily being surprised by both.
  The fact that "God's judgments are unsearchable" should not discourage us. On the contrary, we are otherwise encouraged to search the scriptures and to seek God, and this would not be the case if there were nothing and no One to be found well worth the finding.
  The fact that we will never get to the bottom or to the end of God, the fact that God is unfathomable would only encourage us to seek more earnestly what can be successfully sought about God's nature and God's ways, unless we thought we could master the subject of God like we would master the study of some foreign language. Naturally, if we approached the study of God in that manner, we would become discouraged to find that we weren't any closer to mastery than we were when we started the endeavor. 
  From day to day as we continue our seeking of God's presence, it is good to go back and review what we studied and hopefully learned the previous day, for the sake of continuity and as a foundation for what God wants to teach us today.
