...but it won’t congeal,

those things I hear and what I feel.

In what fairy tale did I learn

that those who have no authority

are really the ones in charge of Me?

That’s not American thinking,

that the Lion without claws

can order the people what they will do

and stop their money from coming through.

Sounds like they have power to me;

yet I’m told to not believe what I see.

Rather believe what I am told.

That instruction is getting old.

If the Lion on the Throne is fake

and has no power of his own, why

is he allowed there to sit

while we wait for a voluntary quit?

Wait, it hurts my head, I don’t get it!

Remember a cliché we once said?

Will the REAL ONE please STAND UP!”

I am beginning to wonder…

really, what’s the game that’s up?
