Achievement is not gift but giver Holy Spirit. Simon the sorcerer needed to buy gift of God with money he offered to Peter. But he neglected giver Holy Spirit.
Achievement is not problem-solving but problem-solver Jesus. Martha is worried and upset about many things but Mary has chosen the best. The selected deacon Nicolas compromised with pagan society.
Character witnesses the call - Moses never told about burning bush experience to anyone. God was so good to Moses.
Direct call always needs the confirmation of the church - Barnabas introduced Paul to the Apostles. Acts 9:26-28.
Appointment is greater than call. Paul appointed Timothy for church at Ephesus - 1Tim. 1:3,4. Paul appointed Titus over churches at Crete - Titus 1:5.
Great call is an added bonus - Paul had a great call. Timothy and Titus never had a great call.
Appointment is never neutral.
Call to ministry is not equal to salvation. For example Deacon Nicolas who was one of selected seven deacons compromised with pagan society. Hate him and Lord also hates Nicolatians. Commendation for hating.
Conviction is not equal to conversion. Judas Iscariot repented but no restitution of ministry. Peter repentance was complete but Judas Iscariot repentance was incomplete. Here repentance lack belief on God with restitution. Martha worry and upset but devotional time is needed. Conversion means soul-winning and transformed lives.
Authoritative men are also under authority. God only does not have authority but he also has rules. He has to be holy always even just and righteous.
